MARCH - ELK COUNTY CREATIONS

The March issue of Evers & Elk, Elk County Creations, is about the people around here who make things simply because they feel pulled to do so. Painters, potters, fiber artists, musicians, writers, performers, builders. The cover story weaves together several local creators into one shared feature, alongside stories that show how much creativity lives in this county, often quietly.

At a time when so much is rushed or artificial, this issue is a reminder that real art lasts — and that making something by hand is one of the most human things we do.

Be a part of the story

Every issue is built around space, layout, and monthly themes, so not everything can run at once. It’s simply a matter of what fits where. If your submission doesn’t appear right away, it stays on the list for future consideration, and you’re always welcome to resubmit for upcoming issues.

Evers & Elk is an homage to the neighborhood that raised me. I grew up on the corner of Evers Avenue in Elk County. That’s where I learned to walk, where my grandma Cathy taught me to paint, where I met my bestfriend… everything. I wouldn’t be who I am today without the memories from my little corner of town.
